Any recommendations on a west Texas outfitter for a doe hunt? Looking for a hunt in the $1000-$1500.00 price range.

Harves, Not west Texas, but 9 Bar Ranch in Decatur, Texas has a good deal. See website.

Damn. That’s tough, lots of good steaks could be purchased for that amount.

I would go to the TX Hunting Forum site. Lots of guys offer doe hunts for $150 or less per doe. No reason to drop a grand on one.
You get out of life what you are willing to accept. If you ain't happy, do something about it!

I'd check into some hunts for exotics.Sometimes you can get some descent deals on cull males or female exotics that will get you way more meat and better eating than a whitetail doe for the price range the original poster was looking at.

You should not spend more than $150 per doe. If you want meals and lodging, you can stay in town and save a lot of $$
It is not about what you kill, it is about the hunt....
