A family member was on a horseback hunt and broke their Cooper Timberline stock in half. With the company changing hands they are having a difficult time finding a replacement.
Any ideas where to get one or have a replacement synthetic stock made?

Bell&Carlson made stocks for Cooper before Cooper started doing them in house. However, they will not sell Cooper stocks to anyone except Cooper.
You probably will have to wait till they get back into production.
I don't think McMillan ever inletted for Cooper actions

I’m not sure anyone ever made an aftermarket stock for a Cooper unless Cooper hired them to do so. Or at least it appears that is the way it was.
They called Bell&Carlson with no luck. Thank you for the help though.

Any ideas where to get one or have a replacement synthetic stock made? Sean, we have a rifles and a classified sub-forum. Have you tried either of those?

I have not yet. I realize I posted this like a WTB post. I meant it to be more of an inquire since we can't find one through the company. I will try it in the rifle section. Thank you

I would give the folks at Nighthawk a call for an update.

What caliber is it?
There are quite a few of that model available at dealers, as seen on Gunbroker and Gunsamerica.
If he can swing it, it might be worthwhile to buy another (can always do a stock swap if not the correct caliber), and then sell one after the replacement stock is completed.
Also, try calling Mark at First Stop in Rapid City, SD, and explain the situation. He is one of Cooper's best dealers (or at least was before the takeover).
I actually just shot my LH Timberline 28 Nosler yesterday for the first time, that I got on a trade deal from Mark early this year. Incredible rifle. Never loaded for this cartridge before. Put a load together based on data found online, and with what powder and primers I had. 4 shots literally in the same hole at 100 yards.

I will pass along the message about your contact in SD. Thank you

No it had a synthetic stock on it. I don’t think Cooper shared their inlet with anyone other than those hired to build the stocks for their stock guns they sold. Stock is broke in half right ahead of the palm swell
