I don't recall ever seeing a Hand Ejector with a case colored frame. That is awesome!

Spectacular! I have a really nice condition M15, but it doesn't look anything like that.

Pretty cool revolver, a friend of mine used to have one of the N frames with the CC frame from the same timeframe. It was a very well put together gun.
Who made your ivories? They’re very nice.

Who made your ivories? They’re very nice. I'm not sure. They were listed on Rogers guns and grips but the makers name wasn't listed. A lot of Keith Brown's stuff is sold over there his name is usually on the listing.

That's a very handsome revolver and holster. I have a nice Mdl. 15 Combat Masterpiece I bought new in 1965, but I'm afraid your setup puts mine in the shade. L.W.

Great looking rig, I'd kill for one like that in a Model 18...............

TC1: That is indeed a beautiful (and according to your shared info, RARE!) pistol. The Mammoth grips really set it off. That leather holster looks nice but "I" would never put a beautifully finished revolver like yours in it. I have 5 (five) Smith & Wesson Model 15's (2 -2's and 3 -3's) and they are NEVER placed in leather! My advice, with that handsome leather holster, is to take it to the nearest lake and throw it as far out as you can - then walk away. Lessons learned with leather over the last 5 decades - no more for me. Great photos by the way as well - thanks for sharing. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

That is a really nice setup, great combination of grips and holster.
I’ve wondered what criteria S&W uses to designate a revolver model as a Combat Masterpiece. Anyone know?

I’ve wondered what criteria S&W uses to designate a revolver model as a Combat Masterpiece. Anyone know? It was the name originally given to the K38 and then it followed when S&W changed it to the model 15. The K38 and Model 15 are the only ones given the "Combat Masterpiece" handle that I know of. Cool name but just marketing.

Cool name but just marketing. I have two model 69s that have Combat Masterpiece stamped on their barrels. I’ve had one with a 4.25” barrel for about six years and a 2.75” for a couple, but never noticed that until just recently. Thought it was kind of cool. Edit - I wasn’t sure that sounded right so I just checked and it says Combat MAGNUM.

That Heritage Smith is absolutely gorgeous. With the grips and leather it is really something. 👍👍 As far as VarmintGuy, I think he bumped his head. Very nice setup. I'm particularly fond of the grip/Tyler's look.
