Perfect age for raising them. What I was thinking. Not sure about the otter, but a coon will turn on you eventually. Never seen one yet that hasn't badly bitten the person who raised it.

Read up on the otter, expensive to feed and don’t do that well in captivity. Told the guy every pet raccoon I’ve seen was ornery. Still easier to raise young, but probably only a matter of time before the wheels fall off the bus.
