I don’t have a nickel in it, but just FYI: If you haven’t checked the American Reloading web site powder inventory lately, you should. Lotsa good stuff! Be sure to download this powder burn rate reference worksheet first.

mrchongo, have you noticed if prices are coming down? I've been seeing more powder on the shelves lately, plus prices are coming down a bit too. I don't expect them to really go down, until we get a Republican back in office though. What I find funny is when guys were saying $65/pound of powder was the "new normal". That type of attitude really pizzes me off, because they are basically giving in to being azz raped. It's fu cking stupidity at its finest. As I told them, that is not going to be the "new normal", and prices as of late is proof of it. One of my buddies bought a bunch of powder when it was $65/pound and I basically said he was stupid.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I see some of the WC powders listed under the "St Mark's" column. But I did not find the MP powders.
I would be interested in the MP 716 listed as "Similar to Ramshot Magnum. And the WC 747 which is listed near 4895 in burn rate.
But both are out of stock.
If I could find 16 to 32 lb of something akin to H1000, Retumbo, Magnum, RL 26, It would be worth developing load data for a few magnums.

About three weeks ago I picked up my new Sako S20 at the local gunshop. They had H-4831 ,, H-1000 ,, Re-22 & 25 ,, H-4350 priced at $46 lb. , plus a bunch of shotgun and pistol powder. A week later they still had the same powders. When shops like this give their suppliers the woe-nelly sign - we don't need anymore right now. That brings prices down and in line with value.
