Reverse figure it from the Bartlein barrel chart.
The chart says the taper is .0122" per inch. The 2B at 24" is listed at .63" muzzle. Shortening that by 4" means 4 x .0122" = .0488", so that's a 20" muzzle diameter of .63" + .0488" = .6788".

If I'm reading between the lines correctly, the answer is 1/2" x 28 threads.

2B with 1” shank @ 18” is 0.70 so 0.68 will be darn close.

Ok, that’s a good chunk cut off the shank. What about with a full shank? Should be .700”+ at 20” I would think.

Need to know shank length if you need exact numbers, otw above works. Certainly true, but I didn't want to add that layer on the first pass.

I do have a 2B, and it’s .710 at 20”, so gotta be a full shank. I’m well aware of the shank making a difference, which is why I didn’t mention it initially as I’m trying to get a range. Mine must be on the fat end of that range.
And I am trying to figure if I can fit one into a McM Remington hunter edge stock.

And I am trying to figure if I can fit one into a McM Remington hunter edge stock. I sold my hunters edge and don't have it to look at anymore, but going from memory I think it might be tough to fit if your smith chambered your rifle with the full length shank. I don't think it would be a problem with a short shank. It fit my (very short shanked) Remington factory sporter barrels well.

I have a Preferred Barrel Blanks Taperless 750 cut at 20" in a Kelbly Atlas with a WTO switch lug and it resides in a McMillian Hunter Edge stock. I have a Bart 2B currently being chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor that is going to be the second barrel for this rig. My smith said the 2B would work out fine. I do not know what he is doing with the shank of the 2B.
