Just started watching season one. Too bad someone thought it was a good idea to equip him with such a useless weapon, though, thinking it would be way cool. A cut down Winchester 92 doesn't serve the handgun role or the rifle role very well. I believe, also, I remember him referring to the cartridges it shoots as .30-30, which is also ridiculous, since they didn't appear till the end of the 19th century. Although, if you do a search, you will be informed the cartridges on his belt were .45-70 (which is what they look like). I'm pretty sure that in the early episodes, he referred to them as .30-30. I'd enjoy it better if he had a Winchester 73 in his saddle scabbard, and a Colt Peacemaker in his holster. I just watched an episode, and that mare's leg sure looked awkward, too big for a pistol and too small for a rifle.
In this episode, he had caught a beautiful brunette fugitive, and while taking her to jail he fell in love with her. Just like any gal who ever fell in love with a Ponderosa boy, this gal didn't last long, she was killed in a shootout with a bad guy.

I have Prime in my home theater, so I will be watching it for sure since I really liked McQueen.
Starting watching 1923 last night, Ford sure looks old now and walks with a limp.
Never seen an episode yet, so I am really looking forward to it. Hard to believe he has been ded for 43 years, died way too young!
