I bought a pair of 10x32 EL's from Broomed a while back and I love them.
Great seller and really good price!

Very nice binos.
Couple questions:
Looking at the first pic…LH barrel 1/3 down from eyepiece it looks like something sticky on the rubber armoring. What is that?
Also, Is the center hinge of the bino still firm/tight as it should be?
Have they ever been back to Swarovski for warranty repair?
Thanks,
Leftybolt

Thanks for the interest, Lefty.
No residue or any other issue. There is some moisture depicted, I had just removed the eyecups to wash them in mild water/detergent. The ocular and objective lenses only saw a lens brush. The bridge is firm and feels new. The focus wheel is crisp with subtle detents.
If a buyer is really discriminating send them in to SONA for a gratis cleaning, although I wouldn't bother, They are pristine save for the normal photo-captured dust speck. They have not been serviced that I know of.

Thanks for the interest, Lefty. <snip> ...They have not been serviced that I know of. So, are you not the original owner of this bino? Thanks.

No, they sat in my friend's safe for awhile before i got them. The surest way to tell that any EL has been little-used is the absence of bridge wear. These show no wear anywhere. Swarovski's 8x32 Swarovisions are arguably some of the best, lightest glass ever made.

Doesn't matter if you're the 10th owner with Swarovski, warranty coverage is the same. Easy to tell these have been babied.

Thanks for the input Darrel, you are correct. I am the (only) registered owner of these, never registered prior. I hadn't thought about it, but that indicates that they have never been to Swarovski for anything prior to my ownership (or after.) These do have the lifetime limited warranty--easily transferred. Quiz on all of this stuff at 5:00 pm.
