Bottom line. Russia isn't going away from anything Ukraine is capable of doing. So those of you who are pushing for further escalation of the conflict are pushing for a war that NATO troops are directly involved in,...and there's no upside in it for the people who make up the NATO countries,..definitely no upside for it for the American people.

So, the only opinion to be had for any American who wants to escalate the conflict, they're either:

A: stupid

B: mentally ill, or

C: evil

There is now zero chance NATO will be directly fighting unless the Orcs attack NATO directly.

Ukraine has proven their skill and will to fight and now they are getting the good weapons.

Even Germany has come off the fence and is pumping lots of weapons for Ukraine to use slayin Orcs.

Feels good to help a country that is willing to fight itself.

I was hoping Russia could whip NATO and then our congress would vote to get us out of that God awful organization. Looks like NATO is going for broke (literally broke) and is willing to start WW3.

You do realize that was a one off stunt ? Sneaking commandos into Russia with stingers to ambush the ew helos was a neat trick but that’s not a broadly effective war fighting strategy. On the other hand the Ukraine has lost at least a half dozen aircraft just this past week. The new British rockets will be adjusted to by the Russian and like the HIMARS will soon fade in effectiveness as the Russians figure out how to defeat them. Meanwhile dozens of major Russian rocket attacks are successful across the Ukraine daily. Celebrating minuscule Ukrainian victories tells you how the war is really going for the Ukraine.

No. The aircraft lost their ew jamming cover when the helos went down. They were then exposed and a mig 29 updated but NATO and supplied by Poland was able to shoot them down. The trick was figuring out where the helos would loiter and sneaking a commando team into place.
