Hard time feeling sorry for those who don't reload and don't keep a bunch on hand. Worse yet they don't bother to save their empties and if your dumb enough to help them out with some ammo they won't save that brass either. You just can't help some people it isn't worth your time. Had to learn that the hard way. Mb

Dies and brass cost less than 100 bucks... This unless you're not set up to load. If you are set up, post a wtb for brass in classifieds here but be careful who you buy from. Also if set up brass is easy to make from parent cartridge or other cartridges based off of the parent. If you don't plan on shooting much buy factory but it can be had for cheaper with a little searching. This. I’m not starving for ammo but when I saw these postings on GB it shocked me. I do have some new 7x57 brass I forgot about that can be necked down. I’m just hoping there are sane prices out there for the guys that don’t reload. mathman has a point about stores keeping inventory on the shelves that doesn’t move. A gun club member saw my post on the bulletin board for 257 Roberts cases or ammo and he said he had 40 new 7x57 cases that could be necked down, but I declined because I got a good response on just the 257 Roberts cases. Have you necked down in the past? Any issues?

I’ve got 5 boxes of Hornady that I’m willing to part with. I’ll post in the classifieds.

Dies and brass cost less than 100 bucks... Have your checked price of Nosler 257 Roberts brass lately? Well north of $100 for a box of 50. I bought 100 pieces of Nosler brass when I bought my Bob about 12 years ago and it's been great through about 5 loadings. Doubt I'll ever wear it out but I bought 200 pieces a few years back just in case.

Hoping to get to the range later this week. The rifle shows promise in the accuracy department and I’m hoping to get it dialed in. So far everything is shooting minute of deer but I want to find a load that will consistently give me MOA. I’ve tinkered with COAL and jump to the rifling. My old loads were touching the lands. Even though it’s a SA I haven’t had any feeding problems with the longer loads.

I've used the 110 grain Accubond over IMR 4350 with great results. I am going to try some 100 grain TTSX as well

I saw a friend pay, $75 a box of 20, 200 grain 350 Rem Mag. I went to his place and let him have 80 rounds for $100. I sternly told him to save his brass.

I bought 100 pc of Rem brass locally last year for about $90. That's my reserve for my one 257. The same dealer has 50 Win brass at $50 plus all applicable taxes this year. Me? I'm still shooting NOSLER +P loads of of the Kimber

Maybe I should polish up some of the hundreds of 257R brass I have and sell them?

$100 gets you brass that's once fired or new in 6mm or 7x57 or 257, and a set of cheap dies. You can expand from there.
I damn sure don't make enough to be buying nosler lol
