Got some river time in with little man in over the weekend. The fishing was schidt though, only caught few sunnies and one little channel cat.

Got the middle daughters 2 dogs here for a couple of days

All 4 have loyalty to their women.
I'm just cool Gramps the snack and rough play guy to them.

I posted early in this thread, a picture of the first deer I killed on my own property. Eighteen months later I've picked up the mount.

I don't do a lot of game mounts, but for several reasons he was done.

Finally got around to building my ultralight. I still have to put in cross braces and gussets but it's moving along.

Played some shadetree gunsmith with one of my air rifles yesterday. The trigger was absolutely fuggin awful out of the box. It's still not good by any means, but it's... eh, less awful now 🤷‍♂️ It's still too stiff, but it's a bit lighter and a lot less gritty now.

So as I lay on the couch late last night I notice a shadow across the kitchen floor coming through the front door[glass].
Lean forward so I can see the door and I'm not sure if it's a neighbors dog or a bear with nose to glass.
By the time i get there it scrambles around to the back porch.

Checking out the grill area???
Probably smells pretty good!!!
