I have a few, all accurate, and great looking. I wouldn’t mind a Classic 308. I’m thinking they didn’t make a lot of them in 308

I passed on a 6.5x55 and regret it to this day. These and the Mountain Rifles are my favorite 700s.

Nice rifle. I wish we had access to better Vectan data. They're good powders.

I was buying them when they were $1,100 to $1,200 range. I have a 350 RM Classic never been fired out side of Illion. I don’t remember what I paid for it. I’d sell but the market has gone too soft. It’ll come back.
I think I’d prefer a 308 Classic. To me that’s about a perfect deer rifle for 85% of the country.

I prefer classic.

I’ve had about two dozen of the 700 Classics go through my hands. I’ve downsized a lot and have only a few now. I accidentally backed into a 270 that’s trying to shoot it’s way into the safe. A 30-06 that’s begging for a rebore and an unfired 280 are the only ones left. First world problems, I guess.

Nice Hanco. My .243, 6mm, 220 Swift, and .264 Win Mag are all very accurate rifles.

I like the “Classics” and have a 350 Rem mag and a 35 Whelen. The stock design fits me very well.

Have a couple, a 6.5x55 that I looked for a long time, near a decade. Plus a 35 Whelen. The 6.5x55 has some light handling dings on the stock, but appears to be unfired, no bolt face marks, brass, etc., or muzzle indications of being fired and no visible carbon or copper fouling in the barrel. Fellow I got it from said it had not been fired.
