Interested in trying a Dan Wesson revolver. I hear they have sub-par triggers compared to S&W but I'd like to try and tinker with one so I don't need anything super collectible.

Please send me what you got!

Here are some Dan Wesson's I've found in the open market, I'd be fine with anything like these:
Dan Wesson Firearms Dan Wesson-357 Mag With New 10 Inch Barrel
Dan Wesson Firearms Dan Wesson 357 Mag Ctg 10
SOLD Dan Wesson 715 (10" barrel), San Diego, No Shipping - Calguns.net

I have one I would probably sell.
Blued model 15 with 4” and 8” barrel. Pics to come later this evening - going back to sleep for night shift.

Dan Wesson revolver triggers are mechanically DIFFERENT than S&W triggers, "Sub-par" is pretty subjective when they are just different. If you want to tinker around and try to get a DW to feel like a S&W you'll fug up a good gun. If you want to try out a DW and see how they feel go for it - they're very good guns.

My opinion:

DW revolver triggers are very good in single action, I think better than many S&Ws, but I certainly haven't compared them all!

DW triggers in double action will feel a little weird if you're used to S&W. They have a shorter hammer throw and don't "stage" like a S&W.

In my limited experience I like the DW in single action better, and the S&W in double action better.

I have a 357 SuperMag but I would want a LOT more for it than what those went for. As to the trigger I placed 2nd with it in the CA IHMSA state match many moons ago so it can't be that bad 😄

I am continually astounded at how quickly people make up their minds on little evidence or none at all.

The comps you posted are pretty old, I think you would be pretty hard pressed to find even a shooter grade one for much under $700.
