My late wife wanted a brick patio in the back yard. Well, it is put in now and after several years; weeds are growing up between the bricks.. I have 4 golden retrievers and we all spend lots of time back there. They love laying on the warm bricks in the sun. I want to kill the weeds, but not with a commercial weed killer do to health concerns for myself and my pals. Anyone know of anything that will kill these plants without harm to us. Thanks. Have a beautiful day.

I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Assuming the bricks can take the heat, that's a good method.

Assuming the bricks can take the heat, that's a good method. Only method that eliminates the seeds.. No run off issues with excess chemicals either.

If it's a fairly small area, you can handle them with a propane torch.

One gallon white vinegar one cup salt one tablespoon Dawn dish soap. That's what Amish nursery sells here as organic. I just use generic round up.

Sprinkle baking soda on them..... better if the leaves are damp/wet.
It's cheaper if you buy the 10lb bags they sell with the pool chemicals...................
