Happened at an Interstate rest stop on I-75. No word on his condition.

Pisses me off that the violence from the nearby cities occasionally bleeds off into our little community.

There's a handful of low class people who live in the small town near here. But they're mostly just small time jailbirds.

Anytime something violent happens around here it's by somebody from somewhere else.

Where's the shooter from?

They haven't caught him yet. He hit the interstate and was gone. Reports are still coming in.

I'm going to bet the shooter is from Cincinnati since it was on I-75.

And with an outstanding warrant.

Hate to hear this.

I sometimes can't freakin believe the blasé, sarcastic, & down right naive comments I read here about safety & Interstate travel.

My first thought as well

A friend with the Sheriff's Dept. told me that he has died and the shooter is in custody.

Them dang Quakers again!!

Damn.

Any news on the shooter?

Police say 34-year-old Deputy Caleb Conley was the officer who died. He leaves behind a wife and small children.



It all began in Scott County at 4:48 p.m. during a traffic stop on I-75 at mile marker 127. ATF and Kentucky State Police arrived at the scene.

Then about an hour later, there was a shooting at Rose & Jim's Bar & Grill on Georgetown Road in Lexington. We're told the incidents are connected.

One worker tells us they heard a couple of gunshots and several other people were inside the bar at the time.

A large police presence was also spotted at a home on Whitney Avenue. 

Kentucky State Police say a suspect is in custody.

Central Texas lost 3 of our State Patrols in the last 5 years nigros shooters during a stop.

Yup. Lot’s of killers on the interstate road. Can’t trust anyone.
