OP smitty_bs Campfire Member S Joined: Aug 2018 Posts: 287 Northern IL	Nice 17"er. Caught using 4lb test line on ultra light rod from shore. Caught 7 others in the 12"-14" range. I was out last night fishing a chain of gravel pit lakes turned park. I saw a couple of largemouth that were bigger than anything I’ve ever seen in Michigan. I’m generally a river guy but my son in law took me to his panfish spot. Caught a green sunfish 1/4” short of master angler! Yeah those reclaimed lakes are well worth fishing! Keep up the good work and post more pics!!
