I pulled this out of a barrel of barrels at a gunshow in western CT about 25 years ago, about 20 miles from the old Marlin factory. The bore is perfect, the barrel measures 26" to the cut ring at the muzzle which has to be finished and crowned. I chamber cast it and it's a 32-40. The chambering is not stamped on the barrel so I imagine it could be sleeved down to another caliber but certainly opened up to 38-55. Link to photos.....$550 plus shipping.

I thought I might find a nice gun with shot out barrel and looked over the years but they were all more work than I wanted to do...
