The Knights of Columbus in Columbia are holding a raffle to benefit Boy Scout Troop 100 at Saint Joseph's Church. All proceeds go directly to the troop. The rifle's are available from Barron's in Columbia for local pickup. I will also personally cover shipping to your ffl should any members here win.

It's my son's Boyscout Troop.

Tickets are $100/5 or $25/each.
Only 125 tickets will be sold for each rifle.
There are 3 rifle's total to be drawn.

Link to the gun being auctioned.

Drawing will be end of June. They are planning on videoing the drawing and calling the winner like last time.

I can take payment via venmo or Zelle. I will email you pictures of your actual tickets with your name and phone number written on them within 48hrs of receiving your funds.

Is there some back story to this? YMMV, but if not it's kind of a douchy move here otherwise.

There is no back story, I don't know the OP. He seems lazy, go for the local support.....
The scout should go out and sell his own tickets. Not his dad, I know all about this kind of thing.

Its like the mama going to work and selling all the others tickets or girl scout cookies, not good.....

I am not a supporter of the BSA anymore and will not be buying any tickets, but this offer is very big of you.

Then you should have shut your pie hole and kept your reply local because there is no need to chit on a man's thread unless you have something to add to the conversation.
