I just thought I would start a post to see what some of us are shooting. I also thought it would let some of the guys that may be thinking about getting into muzzleloading an idea of what kind of options are out there for them. Here are mine:

Kinda, sorta my collection. Some of the scopes have been changed out, the laminated White 97 is a "borrowed" picture of one from the web - but I do have one just like it in the rack, and the Knight KP1 is on its way to me, hopefully be here by Wednesday.

This is a compilation of a number of other pictures taken at various points in time and is not to scale. The Huntsman should be nearly equal in length to the 97 above it, the G2 is about an inch and a half shorter than the Huntsman.

Top to bottom:
White Ultra Mag .504
White Whitetail 97 in Ultra Mag stock - .451
White Model 98 Elite Hunter - .451
White Whitetail 97 - .504 - generic picture
TC G2 Contender - 209x45
NEF Huntsman - .50
Standing rifle is a Knight KP1 in .50 caliber (not yet delivered)

Man, some gorgeous weaponry!

Here's my very plain Lyman Deerstalker .54 lefty, with a Lyman peep sight:
[Linked Image]

She won't shoot a sub-quarter-sized group at 100 yards like Tom264's Remmie up above, but she does okay. Here's a 7/8" 3 shot group at 50 yards, 80 grains Pyrodex RS under a 430 grain T/C Maxi: [Linked Image]

She'll shoot PRB's about as well, although I've still never gotten a taller front sight (shoots balls about 6" high at 50 yards with rear sight at lowest setting).

Captchee, RWL99 and DocFoster ... those are some fine looking weapons. RWL, I especially like the in-field shots with the game they've taken!

All the best,
Liam
