Good. It's the "case workers" who mostly benefit from the social programs IMO. Biden admin will just try to hire more though, that's bad.

Can you explain how a case worker would benefit?

They can get a kick back from the individual for “certifying” that the individual can’t work.

Similar to a kid being “certified” by a crooked doctor that says they have a “mental problem” = more money for the parent(s).

When my wife was teaching, she had many students come to her to get her to sign their form that they were uncontrollable, etc so they could get their “crazy check” (their name for it, not mine).

Doh.... Guaranteed employment... Get those who CAN work (50% ?) off the free gravy train, you need 50% fewer case workers...

It isn't cruel. I have to work till 62 to get back the money the goverment has taken from me for my retirement check. I see so many disrespectful fatties that have never tried to work buying junk food with EBT. Most of them are probably too worthless to do any work but I like the idea of trying to make them work. The government has taken over 30% of my earnings my whole life. Maybe over 40% if you add up all the taxes and fees. Time for them to contribute some instead of just taking.

Even if you gave them a simple work from home job doing what the fuuuk ever on a computer provided for em.

They still would not do it...

Most def don't want em working the drive thru order window.

That schit is fuuuked up enough already.

Let em buy their meats with ebt and sell it under some
" fund raiser or churchy whatever" on the side of the roads on weekends.

Start looking at the types of demographics doing that here in the dirty south or even in other areas.

Ask yourself why you don't see it in the winter.
Then think how much they stash away in freezers for selling season...

Then think of all the hard non taxed cash they make from it also.

EBT is laced with fraud in so many ways...

Sure glad I pay taxes to support it.....

Anyone who ever delivered to grocery warehouses has seen something a hell of
a lot more aggravating than Lazy Welfare Rats.

Ambitious ones!

Grocery warehouses do not unload their freight.
The drivers do.

If you are lucky,
the freight is on pallets,
you have a motorized pallet jack,
they give you room for more than 5 skids,
the receiver is on the ball and checks your skids,
the forklift operator moves them quick.

The receiver and operator will be working a number of trucks at once.

If you are unlucky, the freight is on the floor.
It will need stacked on skids, how the warehouse specifies.
From there, the above applies.

Some floor loads will be thousands of packages. Paper towels are about as good as
it gets, and there are around 800 cases in a normal trailer.

Most warehouses have some Free Agent Day Laborers hanging around the gate.
They are called Lumpers. And are often the Ambitious Welfare Rats.

Drivers are often tired, may have another load to run, or just not able to hump
that freight. So they hire lumpers.

Trucking companies charge good money for the unloading, the drivers do not
get much of it.

In the 90s, I got $50 to unload a trailer. Usually 4 hours work, sometimes up to 8.
Lumpers at the time charged $10/100. So that easy paper towel load payed me $50
for 2 or 3 hours work. An Ambitious Welfare Rat could get $80.

Tax free spending money on top of his free housing, insurance, heat, food stamps, cash assistance. These guy often drove new luxury cars, being able to earn
$1000 plus per week, cash, in spending money. In 90s $$$.

The icing on the cake was the kickbacks they payed the dock guys.

Get a Lumper, he got you in a door first thing, your skids were checked and moved immediately. He got done in no time.

Hump it yourself, they ignored or punished you.
You got a door after all the lumpers clients, they checked and moved your skids last.

Yep. I hated Grocery Warehouses, and Lumpers.

Yep, still bitter.

I have a question.

Since when has it been 'arbitrary and really cruel' to get off your arse and do some work?

Am I missing something here.

Brings back memories. I met some of the lumpers one summer. I had a temp job unloading trucks at a warehouse. Worked for a company that had contracts with several trucking lines. The lumpers did much better and got cash income, often supplementing their welfare. Ambitious indeed, they had lots of pocket money.

F'n right.
When you consider welfare took care of 100% of their living expenses, and they could make $1000 take home per week.

I pounded the road for 5 days plus. Averaged 3100 Mike's per week in a
350hp/55mph truck. Cheated logbook daily, frequently rewrote a new one
to be below my 70hr/week so I could keep going. I didn't come close to averaging
$1000/wk. Gross. And take home pay is all normal folks have.
After insurance is deducted.

I'm guessing these guys had the equivalent of $125,000 in total income value.
Much of it OUR money.

And if I needed a lumper, I had to pay him our of my pocket.

Long story, but one Friday there was a 100 mile load to a warehouse dropped on me,
along with a load home (400+miles to home) that delivered Monday.

With a lot of cases, and a 10pm delivery time.
It was hire a lumper, or not sleep. Not sleeping meant only going home to shower and get clean clothes.

That lumper charged $40 more than the entire load payed me.
It actually cost me 12 hours of my time off, and $40 to move that freight.

People wonder why no one wants to drive long haul.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
