T/C Cherokee .45 Cal
Does not look to have been fired much at all. Bore is excellent.
Stock is very good. Only a few dings and nicks. No cracks or gouges.
Brass hardware is pretty tarnished. Might be a nice project for someone with the patience to polish it up.
28" barrel 13/16th diameter
very light for a Hawken rifle. 6lb, 5 oz as pictured.

$400 shipped

Don’t think it’s a Cherokee, they didn’t have a patch box. Their barrels were 24 inches and that looks longer. Maybe a Seneca. Great price on it

That’s a Seneca as mentioned above. At 400.00 it should sell quickly

Thanks for the clarification, Gents.
I was thrown for a loop when there were no markings on the barrel indicating the model. I thought I did enough research before posting... but... learn something new each day.

Very quickly. I wouldn’t sell my little Seneca for twice that.

The Seneca's and Cherokees were the Gem's of TC's traditional muzzle loaders - for hunters... Light & trim.

I'd add the New Englander's to the list, but I'd be roundly scolded I'm sure.

I've owned TC Renegades in the past and now own a Seneca just like this one. I love my little Seneca. If yours was a 36 I'd buy it. Your priced low, try listing here: https://www.muzzleloadingforum.com/

That is a Seneca which was a “lightweight “
version of the Hawken. If there’s no model
markings on the barrel it may possibly a
replacement barrel after production
stopped. The Cherokee had a shorter
barrel.
