A buddy has a 16 guage Savage Arms Fox model B. Looks to be in good shape. What is a legitimate sale price for this shotgun. I don’t own it and I’ve never seen it in person. Pictures https://imgur.com/a/p6EK3Sx

Yeah bought what I figured. He originally told me a Fox and I thought he meant a Sterlingsworth. It’s not. I told him it’s worth far less as a savage.

With the top lever far left of center, I’d want to verify that the lockup is tight. If not, the value would be substantially reduced.

He said it’s very tight. Again I’ve never laid hands on it. If anyone is interested I can put that person in touch with Jason.
Thanks Nick

Definitely not a Sterlingworth. I've had both. Basically gave a Fox 16ga, just like this one to my buddy. Kept my Sterlingworth. Night and day difference between the 2..
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Remove the forend grip and hold the gun vertically, barrels up. Give it a good shake, twist and pull. If you feel any movement the left of center lever reason is confirmed and benjamins just flew away from any potential deal.
