I have a Honda 700 Pioneer 2015 with 23,000 miles. Was running great. Turned it off now it will not start. Turns over and has spark. Starting fluid is no help. It would backfire at times when trying to start. I have no reliable shops to service it. HELP

How old is the spark plug? Would start with a new one of those. Occasionally the fuel injector harness pigtails will fail. Check if the injector is clicking when cranking the motor. A stethoscope is helpful, or if you have a noid light, check for injector pulse. Have heard of a couple of fuel pumps falling too. Likely one of those three issues.

Fuel and spark.
If starting fluid isn't getting it to fire up then its almost certainly a spark issue.
Pull the plus(s) and see what they look like. Are they wet? Is it flooded? do they have good strong spark when out of the cylinder, or is it weak?

Has 23,000 miles and was run hard on a ranch. Most likely did not change the oil often.

Always wondered about how many miles these engines in SxS and 4 wheelers would last.

No telling how many more if any it would have gone with good driving habits and proper maintenance.

Highest I've personally seen was a little over 35k miles on a Honda Foreman 400. Original clutch and brakes. Replacement tires (a few times) seat and batteries, other than normal maintenance.

What terrain are you running on to get that tire life?

Middle Georgia farmer owned it. Used around the farm, so probably mixed dirt and field roads.
