Saturday night - Greek burgers;





Coldie & a coldie for lunch, Sunday;



Sunday night fish fry, with the kids, at Doug & Megan's place;



Went Phil style, on the plates !

Who doesn't like Greek style every now and again.

A lazy night in the kitchen last night lol

I didn't post this yesterday. Got this idea from meatchurch. Smoked salsa. Smoked 12 tomatoes, 5 jalapeños, 1 onion and a head of bisected garlic (in foil) for a few hours. My smoker got up to 250 so, mine was close to 1.5 hrs. Squeeze garlic cloves out and blend all of above with one bunch of cilantro, juice from 1/2 lime and 3 tbsp salt. Can't stop eating it. Kinda spicy but very palatable.

Tonight's supper was fresh out of the garden. Green peas with red potatoes and cabbage made into slaw. Wish I could say the grilled pork chops were home grown, but they came from the grocery. My garden is really good this year, and we've had beets and broccoli as well as the cabbage, peas and potatoes. Squash, cucumbers and green beans are almost in. Sorry, no pics.

Ribeye seasoned simply with kosher salt, grilled and finished with a pat of butter. The side was fried razor clams

Batchin it, so toasted some roasted garlic & onion loaf, & added mayo, chinkum n cheese !



No complaints, from me, or either dog !

Brussel sprout salad, cavatappi alfredo pasta, and salmon burger

Wife's meatloaf, tater salad, green beans, yumm!

Deer burger, brie, avocado & maters;

Had a great night out with some fine people. Not the usual business dinner cattle call.

Fried crab claws and a nice steak. Oh, and a fine martini.

A pretty good dish of meat loaf, mashed potatoes and gravy here at the hotel restaurant in Ogden. Unfortunately the veggies were carrots and I hate cooked carrots. They did mix a good martini.
