I know a .22 Hornet will raise a cloud of fur, if you point it right. Ever seen a red mist from a prairie dog? Same thing with porch panthers or lawn lions, only it's hair..................

One time when I was a kid I dropped a cat right over a snake. That thing jumped straight up at about face level, it was amazing.

I have seen what happens when kitty is perched on top of a power pole, and completes the circuit between two wires.
There is a gosh awful screech, a horrid smell of burnt protein, and kitty launches straight out into space to fall (not feet first) a few feet from the base of the pole. In this case, kitty had a couple spare lives left, as about ten minutes later he stood up and staggered away.
People who choose to brew up their own storms bitch loudest about the rain.

Years ago I buzzed a 140 partition just over one’s back at around 400 years.
Cats have an amazing vertical and incredible ground speed when properly stimulated.
I’d not have been any more entertained if I’d actually hit him.

No, but one of my stepsons got in a fight and grabbed a cat walking by and used it beat the other guy with, the cat died. The cops arrested him for it and it came out in the police blotter, man beaten with pussy.
