Just finished watching a hunting DVD where a lot of the hunters were using one model or another of these riflescopes. Has anyone here used one, and if so how do you like it? I'm thinking I could get some good use from their lighted post type reticle but wonder how their stuff stands up to heavy recoil and how good their optics really are.

I will curious to learn as well. I have held them in the store and like the concept. I did not pull the trigger on the purchase because the tube length was too short to work well on my 375 H&H.

I have used two of their scopes: a 3-9X40; and a 1.25-4X24. I took both scopes to Africa hunting, and used the 3-9X on a Cape buff and a leopard (shot after dark). The 1.25-4X is OK for brighter light conditions, but needs help when the light level gets down. I loaned it to a friend who used it on his .375 H&H and it broke within 200 rounds. I was shooting it on a .308.
I still have the 3-9X and I have only used it on a .375. My rifle did not have any problems with mounting (M70 clone action).
The tip of the lighted element works fine for precise target work.

I've been using a 3-9x40 on a 7 Rem. Mag. for the last couple of years. No problems, at all. As the above poster says, the tip of the post reticle works well for target work. I like using a diamond shaped target and use the bottom point to match-up with the tip of the post. It seems fine in low light & you never lose the reticle. I don't identify anything with the scope and it's fine to make a low light shot, after using binos to judge the animal. I keep thinking I need to swap it to another rifle, but it just works well on the ol' "Meat & 'taters" 7 mag, so I just leave it alone... Give one a whirl.

I have several......one(1.25x-4x) has been mounted(Talley one piece bases/rings) on a .375 Ultra custom 700 long action through a lot of rounds.....no problems.....the latest is a 3x-9x going on a Ruger 77 .257 Roberts. I really like them, very bright.

I see they have a choice of colors for the reticle, amber or red. Which one would be the best?
