If pilots aren’t already close to the end of the training pipeline in their combat aircraft, they won’t be a factor. Guys that have recently left their fleet squadrons could get up to speed pretty quickly. Anyone just starting their training won’t be a factor.

The Boneyard at Davis Monthan USAFB in Tucson has been significantly reduced over the past 5 years or so. Where are these "thousands of mothballed planes" supposed to come from?

Sounds like we are just replacing Poland's old Russian planes with newer, but older for us American planes such as older F-15's and F-16's which have been around for 35 years, but can still beat any Russian or Chinese plane in capabilities. Same with the Philippines. They may have old F4 Phantoms or such planes. Sounds like we are just upgrading our allies planes to send a message to Russia and China, but not full blown war.
And yes, our biggest weakness is our power grid. Knock out our power grid with EMP bombs and it would take 6 months to a year to get power back on to everyone. This was in a government report back in the early 2,000's. The report said knocking out our power grid would cause 100 million Americans to die due to sewage treatment, potable water, medicines not being manufactured, as well as no canning of foods, and no freezer foods available. Solar and wind wouldn't help. You still have to reset all the breakers nationwide as well as replace some damaged transformers, etc, to get all the power back on. Power companies as well as their contractors do not have enough people to get all the power back on at one time, but would take months. Then over half the cars and tractor trailer trucks would have their electronics fried and wouldn't operate. Same with gasoline pumps and stations, as well as electrical systems along pipelines such as oil and gas pipelines.
Newt Gingrich wanted congress to authorize $200 billion to protect the grid from EMP's and cyber attacks back then, but they wouldn't vote for it, and haven't since.
So, if you are a prepper, you need at least a year or two of food, a way to cook it, and some type of alternative power for refrigerators and freezers. If you are on meds, some people skip taking them 1 day a week to build up a supply, especially perscription meds. Lots to think about.
An EMP nuke exploded 250 miles in space above Kansas could knock out the power to the entire US. North Korea, China, Russia, Iran could all do it. Who would? Knocking out the power and invading the US with everything still intact except the power off, someone would get a lot of technology. China has the manpower to do it. The other countries do not. Only our Navy stands in the way of an invasion.

So is China, RUSSIA EMP proof. Critics(leftists) laughed at Trump when he created the Space Force.

If that happened we are all most likely dead anyway from the ensuing nuclear war that would take place after they take out our power grid with Nukes...It would be mutually assured destruction on a mass scale. Those that don't die would probably be wishing they had in whatever is left of the world...
