Was that type of printer paper used in 1964?

I looked into that as well but didn’t get very far. Sounds like they may have been around, HAW was a huge farm supply distributor and carried rifles for sure saw a catalog of theirs on eBay. Amazing what you can find on the internet really. Scary actually.
I was wondering if it could have been paper for a typewriter mainly because I am sure it was the old type that when you typed on it you ended up with like three copies.
I think rifle box and tag are completely legitimate and this receipt is just for a different rifle type. Whether that was an honest mistake or intentional I am not sure.

IBM Electronic typewriter and not entirely sure they existed in 1964 either. Just looked it up , they were introduced in 1961 10 and 12 characters per inch. Not sure what the CPI on that document is.
