I have a P365 original pistol. This x macro seems like it might be a decent pistol as well, holding more ammunition in the magazine, while being slimmer than a P320 compact. Has anyone here owned this pistol or shot one? My local GS does not have one for rent. It’s a pretty expensive gun but it comes with 4 magazines and night sights. Thoughts?

From spec sheet it looks very similar to G19 MOS except it uses metal magazine giving 17 round capacity instead of 15. sleep
I wonder what they will come out with next P365 Mega similar to G17, but with metal magazine instead of polymer over metal magazine?

I have the original p365 and also the x macro . I appendix carry both of them in Vedder holster. The x macro does have a holosun red dot on top. It does carry a little larger due to the mag length, but It is not very noticeable unless I am carrying for church with shirt tucked in over it. The flat trigger of the macro is better than the curved original, but both of them are crazy accurate for their small size, but the edge goes to the macro still. I usually have the 12round magazine with pinky extension on the original so not much shorter.
I also feel a little better with the extra couple rounds that the macro affords me.
YMMV

Any of the P-365's can use the 12 and or the 15 round magazines. The smaller grip can use the 10 rd, 12 rd or the 15 rd magazines

I got banned on another web site for a debate that happened on this site. That's a first

You are correct.. the 17 in the macro fills the hand better for me. It may be negligible but that's my $0.02 I do usually carry one of the 17s as a backup magazine when I carry the original p365.
I also have the comp version, not the tac ops the OP was asking about... my mistake

It is my understanding that the x macro is thinner than the Glock 19.

A buddy just picked up two, one for him and one for his daughter. I'm 50/50 right now on getting one...just not sure how to justify the money on another CCW 9mm - my least favorite caliber and the G43X is doing its job really well. I shot his, it's really smooth, trigger is meh, but perfect for a CCW type pistol. I love the grip but that may be personal preference as I can't stand the micro guns where your pinky has no place to go. Accuracy was good, no cloverleafs at 8 yards, but we were using Dillon press reloads with cheap bullets. The flared magwell felt good in my hands and I'd keep it on, but my buddy with grizzly sized grips, took it off. He and I didn't have a single reliability issue, but his daughter, a new shooter, had several. Clearly a shooter issue, might have been limp wristing.

I originally bought the P365 and quickly traded it for the XL which I like much better. The XL grip is still a bit small for my hand so I just purchased a Xmacro grip module and 17 round mags. The XL slide and Xmacro grip essentially gives me the Xmacro Tac Ops less the beveled mag well. This combo feels just right...

I bought an XL a few months ago and love it. It is very accurate and feels good in the hand, especially with the 15 round mag. I also had one of these Xmacro's in my hand yesterday and it feels that much better. I have pretty big hands though. There's a small difference in fit and feel, but if you have big mitts, the xmacro may be the better choice. Sweet pistols though. The one I was looking at yesterday was overpriced at $930.00..

Thinking my XL/Xmacro hybrid will become my primary (carry, nightstand, truck, shower whistle etc.)...
