I've run a few of these through my Match Champion. Most accurate load I've fired in it. The flat point is impressively wide, and it does get close to the listed 1120 fps. But....the empties stick in the chamber and take a pretty smart rap to eject. Bases on the empties measure a full .004 wider than those of my other "real" loads (180-220gr). I won't be shooting many of these in that gun. Anybody tried them in an auto? I'm guessing they may not feed reliably, and I wonder if I should even try them in my XDME.
Probably should just get Mackay's 200's and call it good....

I’ve always been a “shoot what ya want” kinda guy, but these boutique 10mm’s just keep seeming to get hotter and hotter.
A 230 grain .40 cal bullet at 1120 out of a case a bunch shorter than a .41 magnum. Say that out loud a couple times.
If I were running 88 grain eldm’s out of a 22” .223 at 2900 and griping my cases were sticking, there would be a resounding “duh” from the ‘fire.
Don’t mean to sound like an a-hole, admittedly have never owned a 10mm. But there’s not much in TN a 200 at that speed wouldn’t lengthwise…..

Just wondering if this is more an issue with the MC and its cylinder than the load. Maybe safer in an N-frame? They claim to have tested it in Glocks. I wonder if they found any of their spent brass.

Dang I didn’t realize Ruger built such a thing (I was thinking 1911 and pecking out empties with a cleaning rod). That’s sweet!

I think 220gr bullets in a 10mm is a malfunction waiting to happen. If you want to tinker and set up a 1911 or whatever to run on them, that's fine, but I'm guessing 220gr ammo was never included in striker fired production guns' testing regimes. Talk about boutique ammo, this is it. And like someone else said, there are other calibers that push this amount of lead around a lot safer and more efficiently.
