If dog’s could talk. Would they really prefer to be out or in? My daughter has two indoor catahoulas kept inside and I can’t stand to go over there and see these magnificent Creatures caged. My dogs stay outside and I am very confident they love it. As for protection inside, I’d prefer the Protection come outside. If a threat happens to get by guerilla Frank, they have to deal with Pete at the back door.

I absolutely hate animals in the house. They stink, shed, chew, the crap and piss and scratch up the house. Agree I want nothing to do with you people.

Kids had a cat for a few years when they were pre teen. And both kids are out of the house and have cats indoors. I absolutely hate animals in the house. They stink, shed, chew, the crap and piss and scratch up the house. Then someone is piss poor at training animals, just sayin

To the people who take their pets everywhere and think it's okay, remember your rights end where others rights begin. I take my dog where they're allowed. The park, Tractor Supply, the pet store etc.. If you don't like it you have the right to stay the fuuck out of those places.

My parent's always kept the working farm dogs out in a dog house or in the heated porch.
But half the time I wouldn't have had a problem with their cleanliness.
Our house dogs live in town and don't get dirty. But they do shed and the latest puppy has chewed up some carpet. On accident laying on the floor while chewing her chew.

Have traveled quite a bit, and in Germany and the Czech Republic found that it's commonly accepted to bring dogs into restaurants--though usually smaller dogs, such as dachshunds.
Have had at least one Labrador retriever (and sometimes two) for 50 years now, and while some were more comfortable hunting in really cold weather than others, would not consider leaving them outside during -40 Montana nights than a human child of the same size--even in heated doghouse.
Also used to have at least one cat until Eileen (who loves cats) developed a major allergy to them. But the last one we had was a black-and-white tomcat that was best buddies with our Labrador at the time, and would go on walks with us. He also kept the 4-acre property we lived on then free of tiny "varmints," some of which were hard on the garden. Though he would often bring his kills to the back door, then whine until we let him in--whereupon he'd run inside, eat a few bites of commercial catfood--then run back out and eat his kill.
Also believe that all our Labs have hunted better with us because they're partners, not just "tools." All of which is why we put up with the minor inconvience of having them in the house--which in my experience is far less than quite a few people we've known....

If it pisses somebody off, that's just too damn bad.

Absolutely! Our 75# Boxer pretty much rules the roost, so to speak. She's spoiled rotten.

Love my dogs, but they live outside and have a good dry barn to sleep in.

That’s normal for narcissists. Mention it to your therapist; I’m sure he has a plan to work on it Probably involves antidepressants, but that’s normal too
