OP HIGHGEARED1 Campfire Greenhorn H Joined: Nov 2020 Posts: 79	Hey all, been awhile since I've posted, mostly gleaming from the light of others on here. Anyhow Ive ran across a 1928 99 in 30-30. It is extra rough, cracked fore arm busted butt stock and no bluing. I haven't gotten my hands on it yet but I was wondering if anyone here has built a 22hp from a 30-30 should the barrel be bad. Or should I hunt up a HP to start with ?

The bore is immaculate, as if never fired. The outside has Bubba's wrench marks on it. It clearly is not for everyone, but if it interests you, let me know.
