I was under the impression that most educated Germans looked down on anyone of African descent and tended to shun German woman who were involved with U.S. GIs who were people of color. Evolution and broader acceptance goes on everywhere it seems.
The Germans used to sell a soft drink called Afri Cola that they advertised with [bleep] dressed like humans, suggesting that Africans were as much [bleep] as they were human. Probably not PC in 2023.
EDIT: Apparently, Rick's algorithm doesn't like the words "[bleep]" or "[bleep]" in the way that I used them.
