Two launches are set for early Thursday morning, only minutes apart.

First, from California, SpaceX is targeting 12:19 a.m. PT (3:19 Eastern) for a Falcon 9 launch of 47 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. If needed, a backup opportunity is available the same day at 11:53 p.m. PT.

The first stage booster supporting this mission previously launched Space Development Agency’s Tranche 0 and two Starlink missions. Following stage separation, the first stage will land on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship stationed in the Pacific Ocean.

Then, from Florida, United Launch Alliance plans to launch the second last Delta 4 Heavy with a spysat at 3:25 am Eastern. Watch that one HERE

The next scheduled daylight launch is another bunch of Starlinks satellites from the Cape on Friday morning. Details to come.

Thanks for the heads-up. I watched the 10/27 launch last year from the front yard, pretty spectacular. Was even able to vaguely see the boosters separate and head home.
