My brother in law passed away last year and my sister has put his guns up for sale at a shop (Rinkor Arms 707-284-2767) in Santa Rosa, CA.  I believe he bought the pictured above .264 new in the early 60s, and I am reasonable sure that the rifle has not been fired for the past 35 plus years.  He apparently added a recoil pad and had a vintage Weaver variable scope with external adjustments mounted at the time of purchase.  I would think that the sling is period correct too.   In any event, I have no financial interest in this rifle, but thought some of you Pre-64 guys might be interested in doing some due diligence on this rifle for its $1300.00 price tag.
