Nice Zastava rifle imported and marketed as their Model 70. This rifle is chambered in 7x64 and features open sights, set trigger (two trigger), hinged floorplate, and sling swivels. It appears that the original finish was stripped off the wood but the checkering is still in great shape and does not appear to have been sanded down. The bore looks excellent and this has a nice recessed crown. The metal had some freckling which I removed a fair amount of with Hoppes No. 9 and some very fine steel wool. There are still a few stubborn areas and some areas of blueing loss from removing the rust freckles. No deep pitting but a few areas will catch your finger nail if you run it over the steel.

For some reason those came from the factory with what felt like no stock finish. Just needs some oil added

Looks like Boyds has some options for laminate/wood

B&C makes one for the Mark X which should be the same pattern.

A stock made for a Mk X will fit. I have this same model, yes, stock is devoid of decent finish, but that is easily fixed and she is a shooter!

I really like the "trimness" of this stock. Feels good in the hand and points naturally for me. If it stays up much longer it may just get put back in the safe. Already have 7x64 brass and dies in my grafs cart...may have to hit "checkout" and start playing with this metric .280.

Howard1 - you won’t be disappointed in this one. I bought one of these a few years back and it is an outstanding shooter!!
