Replied via the web site link and later added more info, nothing personal, via the email address in the ad. Turns out this is a Medalist model and it is way under priced. When I sent the first message, I was under the impression that his was a base model. Turns out it is in the top of the Buckmark line. How bad is this? He didn't get any of my info yet and only has my email address.
Sounds like you're in the clear with no personal info divulged. "Way under-priced" is a red flag though. A scammers best tool is to get people to think they're getting a great deal.
No. First place I checked as we usually sniff them out and report to others. Only let me go back 1 year and the only one that showed up was 4 times the cost, but had a case and everything else that came with it when new.
Well, I finally got a reply from the seller. He said he didn't notice my email as it was in his spam folder. He says he not from Nebraska, but actually lives in California. Big surprise (sarcasm).

Hmmm...I realize I graduated from Slow Learner's U., but I don't get why the OP is exposed. If he's only divulged an email address how is he exposed, much less totally f****d? Or am I missing obvious sarcasm?
