Haven't seen a rabbit on the property in years and we really miss seeing them. Living in the woods and back of the road and not really a development person we're zoned country living on a few acres loaded with all the wildlife you can imagine and that we enjoy. Can't plant many flowers as the deer and such will decimate it all. The garden is enclosed with Garlic planted around the perimeter as we don't loos anything to the wildlife. But the Rabbits have been missing for years especially with as many coyotes and fox we have around. We usually take 4-6 coyotes a year and an occasional red fox.

Brushpiles are your friend.

Don't build them too far apart either.

Somewhere in this sub forum is a thread about rabbit condos.

Yeah I agree been building brush piles for years and promoting it when I let the local scout troop come over and work on project for their badges as one of the requirements for wild life is to provide habitat,(brush piles).

I leave my brush piles if possible.
I dunno if I'm doing it right. But can't hurt to have extra cover for the critters.

Between the eagles, hawks, foxes and coyotes the rabbits are having a tough time
