Replaced my older Nikon African 1-4 x 20 with a new Trijicon Accupoint 1-6 x 24 with #4 reticle. What an incredibly clear scope with a true 1x and huge eye box at low power. Very easy to adjust power ring too. I wish the #4 was just slightly thicker, but it's a good balance. I think I'll really like it.

I recently ordered two 3-9X Accupoint's on sale from Midway. I wanted a light 1" scope. One will go on my M70 375 H&H and will go for brown bear next year. I went with the green post reticle on both. Debating what to put the other one on. Glad you are pleased with yours.

I have the #4 green dot. I wish the cross hairs were ever-so-slightly thicker. But it's a good balance between quick acquisition and accuracy at distance. During daylight, I have to throttle the brightness a little. Dim light, I dial it to full power.

I'm not considering this a scope beyond 200 yds (although capable). It's more for large game in the African Mopane with the option for more open shots on plains game or pigs (for practice here at home). I do have an Accupoint in 3-9 x 40 with the red triangle post. That's a really nice scope too and almost what I put on the .375, but in the end, I just wanted something new and didn't want to mess with the setup the 3-9 x 40 is on. (AR-10 .308)

I don't think anyone would be wrong with a 1-6 x 24 with the triangle post. I've just started to really like the #4 reticles.

The 1-6 w triangle post is great, very fast, at 1x the scope body disappears and it's nearly as fast as a red dot. Past 300 yards it's clunky to use.

I have a 1-6 Credo HX on my Howa Mini 6.5. Agree with you about the view, very impressive.

I also like how they package their scopes: see-through bikini covers, neoprene cover, lens pen; all solidly packed in a big chunk of dense foam in a sturdy box. Not cheap, but good value.

What fresh Hell is this?
