My wife spent many days on the sand in Laguna Beach. She did the same in college at SLO. Her skin shows it. The beach I grew up with, Sea Ranch and Manchester Beach, was always overcast and cold as can be. My skin shows it.

No vacation planned this year yet, this evening we were looking at stuff.
Including a beach.
Sounds like you've been to the Jersey/Delaware shore or something.

Not the nice beaches like in Fat's or Morewood's pics.

We like the beach and are ocean people. Grew up riding horses from Jupiter farms to the Jupiter inlet, Juno Beach and clothing optional Air Force beach. The beach is about the only thing we miss about Florida.

I’ve been down here(Surfside, Texas) for three days. I haven’t seen a nice bikini walk by yet. The sand here is real fine, sticks to you. I like the beach in Cozumel, we are going early September

I told you the volleyball tournament is where it's at!
Apparently in CA a thong is required to be decent at volleyball. Hey, I don't make the rules,..

I'm very near the Pacific tonight. I will walk to the beach in the morning. Later I'm off to the Sierras and then to Utah. If forced to choose, please give me quaking aspen and sagebrush.

They should just make them thongs a non-negotiable article of clothing for all the good lookin' wimmins at the beach, no matter what they're doing at the time.

I get tired of it pretty quick these days. When I was younger I'd didn't mind it much but my wife has made me like it much less. She likes to be the first one there in the morning and the last one to leave. When we're in Hawaii or Costa Rica we have to spend nearly everyday at the beach.

I have a hard time after an hour or two because of health issues. If I have a good beach chair I do better but sitting or standing for hours in the hot son while my knees and back aches is no longer my Idea of a good time.

After 4 days into our 2 weeks in Hawaii this February my kids revolted and started saying no mom we don't want to go to the beach all day again, we're not going today. My wife was really pissed thinking I'd put the kids up to it. She just has it in her head that when you're in Hawaii your supposed to go to the beach and there's almost no arguing.

She planned our Pearl Harbor day really short so we could spend most of that day at the beach. I canceled one of our later beach days and took the kids back to Pearl and took them on the battleship Missouri full tour. The kids loved the battleship even though mom kind of rushed is through so we could still make it to..... yup, the beach.

That's just the way her family travels too. They either go to the beach all day or get up early and go on hikes. I think it's because other things cost money.

I lived in Hawaii for 5 months and could walk to the beach in 5 minutes I was in my twenties and healthy and loved the beach but still don't think I ever spent more than 3 hours in one day on a beach until I was married. I always had lots over other things I liked to do as well. I still like to try new foods or restaurants when I travel or take a spontaneous drive to some random place. Or just mix it up with locals and learn something new. Or heaven forbid just sleep in and relax on a few of the days.

But I'm getting to where I loathe long hot uncomfortable sweaty sandy sunburned days trying to keep an eye on 3 kids in the water for hours until they all get tired and start crying and fighting. That's about the point where my wife says we've only been at the beach for 4 hours today so we still need to do at least 4 more hours.

Announcer, "he is"

Clown "I think he's from Florida"

Announcer "why"

Clown, "When he hit the ground he was talking about the sunny beaches"

As far as going to the beach it is something I can take for 3-4 days about every 2 or 3 years. I'm ready to go home after a few days and have no desire to go back for a few years.
Clown to announcer: Hey Chet! I think the bulls are sick!

Announcer: How can ya tell?

Clown: They’re throwing up cowboys!

Some I wouldn't mind, but most of these fellas wouldn't want you to even post one of your "skinnier" ones!
