Yes, we just had a "Newfie" seafood store open up in town.

All wild caught from the rock & all flash frozen.

Supposed to be a delivery of fresh, never frozen, coming in today/tomorrow.

Waiting on a pile of mussels !

Sounds awesome Paul!

Fresh Atlantic Cod is hard to beat.

Have you ever had Malpeque Oysters, if they have them give them a try my all-time favorite oyster, a splash of Tabasco a little squirt of Lemon - SLURP!

Even straight up they are delish

Hi Richard, it's in the restaurant, that keeps opening & closing, where Domino's, lotto one & the drivetest centre is.

Traffic lights, at the downtown overpass.

Hi alwaysoutdoors, you can order them on line if you enjoy shellfish, typically they come into season in the months ending in "r".

Looks like VJJ, but tastes better, depending on your mood lol

If you eat the oysters first, you will climatize yourself, then nothing will phase you and she will be truly grateful, the Tobasco may sting a little though lol

Hey Paul, have you tried the anchovy paste? Tube lasts a lot longer.

I buy tomato paste the same way. I haven’t seen a recipe yet that uses a whole can of tomato paste.

Personally, I stay away from paste, because they just don't use fillets in making anchovies Paste, they use the entire fish, including eyes and innards, I have been told.

I use them for my Caesars which I make by hand mashing the fillets with a fork on a wood board by hand, which is the traditional way.

The funny thing about Caesars, everyone thinks the recipe was developed in Italy, it was actually developed in a Mexican restaurant.
