What is the ID of the front tube ? There were at least 3 K4 sizes over the years.

It appears to be about 1 5/16-inch. It fits the K4 that was made at the same time as the KV. So if you have a KV you could use that scope with this mount too. Outside of the 1-in K3 tube, this is the most common tube size I have come across for Model 70s and Savage 99s.
