I have long been fascinated by one of the most clear thinking black Americans to ever live. I’m in the middle of book #3 of his 8 works. In relating his thoughts on race hustlers:
“Some of these people do not want the negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.”
“I am afraid that there is a certain class of race problem solvers who don’t want the patient to get well, because as long as the disease holds out they have not only an easy means of making a living, but also an easy medium through which to make themselves prominent before the public.”
I don’t have to wonder what Jesse Jackson and the Reverend Al would think of him.
Government is like a baby: An alimentary canal with a big appetite at one end and no sense of responsibility at the other. - Ronald Reagan
For why should my freedom be judged by another man's conscience? - 1 Corinthians 10:29
Funny you never hear much about Booker T. Washington from the race hustlers these days. They use to name stuff after him, but not in quite a while....gee, I wonder why???
