Getting ready to load some in my 6mm Grendel. Anyone have any experience with them? Most likely use LVR.

I’ve settled on running Hornadys Precision Hunter factory loaded 103s in my 6cm. Speeds seem a bit sedate but they print very well on paper in this rifle. I’ve yet to put one into a critter, it’ll likely be a pig or 6 when I do. I’ll report back with results.

Looking at that one also in my 6 x 45 for this fall....

If not, then a good old Speer 105 gr SP.

I used the 103 gr. ELD-X in my 6CM, to shoot a few Pigs and Coyotes last season, when I ran out of 105 gr Scenars, they shoot to the same POI as the 105gr and everything I shot Died ----DRT. Rio7

Not to hijack the thread, but is the 103 eldx short enough for the 6x45 in an AR? I can use Duramags mags that allow COAL to 2.325" if that helps any. Wondering how well they'd work in that capacity.

I'm not running them in an AR Thegman...

The Rifle is a bolt action and allows a long cartridge than and AR Mag.

I test fit it for someone as they were interested in an AR build in 6 x 45, but the bullet had to be seated pretty deep, yet with powders like W 748, BLC 2, AA 2520, velocity was decent, 2500 fps...

If I was going to it, I'd probably use a 90 grain Ballistic Tip, but I think Hornady has a 90 grain Plastic Tip... ELD.X or ELD.M.
Sierra's 90 grain Tipped bullet is too hard to open up at 6 x 45 velocities out of an AR.
