Any experience with these on whitetail size critters? Picked up a couple hundred for Creedmoor after not being to satisfied with 143 grain ELD-X penetration wise. Thanks!

I shot them for a while at 3,200 over Big Game in a 22" .260Rem. They killed rather well and I was never able to catch one in an animal. Not a bad hunting load for moderate ranges.
Now with even more aplomb

I use them in a .260 over Varget 0.010” off the lands. They work well on our deer including mature bucks which average 225 on the scales and heavier. Also, they work well on pigs. Shot placement is to the high shoulder on deer and all have exited.
Good bullet, definitely recommend.

My buddy loaded some up about 10-12 years ago for the Creedmoor his youngest was shooting. The kid was probably 7 or 8 then, 19 now.
The kid will not let him load anything else as he has had great kills with it on deer and hogs.

Like JPro, I found they worked real well in a 260 Rem.... took a few blacktails with them. Real good bullet to use for deer hunting with a 6.5 Grendel.

I've shot 2 blacktail with my Howa Mini Grendel using those bullets, one a little over 100yds, the other around 45yds or so... worked perfectly. Didn't recover either bullet, so penetration was excellent.

My son shoots them in his and has killed 11 with it so far. Most are DRT but the ones that do run only go about 20 yards with a great blood trail. I loaded them around 3/4 max for a little lighter recoil for him. They averaged 3,032 FPS. They shot a 3 shot .642” group at 100 for me using H4350. I am very pleased with the results of that bullet and will use it on my new setup as well.

Thanks to all for the replies, sounds like I'm good to go as long as accuracy is there. Loading for a couple Tikka 6.5 Creedmoors. Shots will likely be under 250 yards.

I shoot them in my 260 Rem, over H4350 at 3145 fps. They shoot small and consistent groups. I haven't aimed one at game yet, but assume they'll perform like all TTSXs do, in the chambers I use them for.
I'm heading to the range tomorrow to try some 120s on top of Varget, H4350 and IMR 4350, in the same gun.

My 11 year old drew an elk tag this year. I'm thinking about loading the 100g ttsx for his mini howa grendel. He's recoil sensitive and I've been running a moderate load of 129g ablr's for him. I wonder what the minimum velocity for expansion is for the 100g ttsx? We may stick with the 129g ablr because they expand well at sedate speeds.

Bb I think Barnes generally lists minimum expansion velocity for TTSX at 1800. Slightly lower (1600?) For the LRXs.

Good bullet, definitely recommend. I'd really like to try Varget in my 260 with 100 TTSXs, to see how it compares to H4350, but Barnes doesn't list it. Could you recommend a starting charge, as well as where you're at with it and velocities that you're seeing? Thanks EDIT: Nevermind, I just looked again and found it on Barnes site. Don't know how I missed it... On another note, I was at the range today and shot 120 TTSXs over 42.5 IMR 4350 at 2745 into .382". Rifle is a Ruger Ultra Light tanger with a 20" McGowen 8 twist barrel.

Using them on 260 Rem doing about 3250fps. Cause a lot more damage than expected (refer to Foreman's pics). I'll probably jump to the 120gr and slow em down a bit. But yes, all have worked, all have exited, and all have performed as they should.
