So had to make my own supper... l roasted a cheap beef roast about 2 hours and 7 minutes. From that you can guess how heavy it was . Mashed potatoes/ cheese and marj ; gravy made of the potato water and turnip water , good dose of salt and some old dried up French bread to devour the plates of second helpings. This time I carefully ate the roast ,Billy the kid style, watching my back but cutting thick slices . Well worth the effort. Now looking forward to a beautiful sink full of dishes and dads cookies if the dog will let me.

When cooking is as depressing as the eating

What temp are you cooking?

850*f for less than 2 minutes, turning every 10-15 seconds.

Thanks Rick, will try this too.

Have been using it fresh, day 1, but then refrigerate till next use, but usually use within the next few days !

BBQ Chicken Breast with Roasted Red Bell Pepper Coulis and Homemade Bread and Butter Pickles, which I made with Cucumber from our garden. I mixed the Coulis into the rice, very tasty

That’s damn hot. My brick ovens are at 650°

I would try dropping the temp a bit Paul

I figured that Paul, it's not you, it's the Pizza System you are using, guaranteed! Although a neat concept, they have inherent flaws that burn the crust, which is why I did not buy one.

Nice to know that someone else besides me knows what Canary means. I find that pizzas are best done Canary, for Pizza perfection and I know that like me that is what you strive for. cool

Different shirt, otherwise it would have been included. Between the Weber and the Traeger-I don’t find myself needing much else
