Well my "kids are 54 and 52, so, I can still remember what I had for breakfast. I think.
The kids, both veterans, survived and have both done well. One is an assistant principal at a HS and the other is a 5th Level Manager at a Fortune 500 Co.

I know of a few men that have come to grief over getting a vasectomy as a young man when wife #1 went into the dustbin and wife #2 was not able to conceive a child by natural service. My nephew in law had that very thing happen and reversal surgery failed. One of my wife's best friends now 57 years old remained childless due to the same scenario.

We started at 29, had three. Middle son just told us we were all meeting in Hawaii and he's paying. How schweet it is.

Was 27 when my daughter was born, then 34 for my son. Funny thing my dad was the exact same age as me when his only son was born.

First at 20, then 24, last at 34. I was able to spend more time with last child after I got of construction and got a maintenance job. 23. First and only. Accident .. but not a mistake. 35 years later ... there is absolutely no doubt I won the kid lottery. I have no delusions she's perfect, but she's been the perfect kid for me. More than that, minus that unplanned event, I think I'd be dead already.
Anyone who thinks there's two sides to everything hasn't met a M�bius strip.

45 and 46. I didn’t marry until I was 43. At 60 I can still play a little soccer and ski moguls with the kids but I wear out faster than I used to. I’m much more patient as an older father but less energetic and I lament the likelihood of not seeing grandchildren. Love those boys though!
