Bought the wife a McMillan for her Tikka. We both like it. Drop in fit except I had to remove a small prong sticking up on the Tikka trigger guard. Time from order till stock was received was about 3.5 months. Plan on ordering one for my Tikka 270 in the near future.
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Good info. I have a Proof 20 caliber blank I'm thinking of using and making a nice 204 Ruger out of it. I'm pretty sure I can get the barrel channel ordered for a Sendero profile.

I have two of the Stocky's carbon fiber stocks. One with the vertical grip and one the regular hunter stock. I like the regular one better. If the grip area on the vertical grip one wasn't quite as big in diameter, I would like it better.

Just dropped my 6.5x55 into a Mesa Precision Altitude, dead-on fit and only took about a month to get.

I went with a Bell & Carlson medalist for my LH tikka.
Accuracy remains excellent.

I like it. I have a couple of AG Composites on Rem 700 actions and really like them. Not sure if they'll do a Tikka though. Will call.

Straight from Mesa: https://mesaprecisionarms.com/products/rifle-stocks/tikka/tikka-altitude-stocks/They had a pretty good sale going on when I ordered mine. Looking at emails, it was day exact to the month between putting the order in and getting the shipping info.

Price is right, what's the benefit? Don't take that the wrong way. I'm not dissatisfied with the factory stock but it could be better in some ways. I'm interested just want to know what I gain. Lighter and more rigid would sell it to me, is this the case?

I really like the Wildcat on my Tikka SL. But they aren’t drop in and I’m not sure how large a contour a guy would want to use in it tho.
I've seen more well-shot game lost with TSXs than any other premium bullet.

I'm not familiar with the Wildcat. Is that a brand or a model of something?

Wildcat Composites in Alberta. Stuart makes very light, but strong and stiff stocks. Not drop in, you need to be somewhat handy to DIY or have a good smith finish it.
I just got another blank from him for a Tikka 7PRC build.

I just got another blank from him for a Tikka 7PRC build. I've read that it sort of goes back and forth on them being available in the US when I was poking around looking for stocks. Sounds like he might have an importer set up for it now though?
