In search of the perfect rifle for Africa. I’m thinking 3006 definitely Has to be control round feed in a wood stock. Preferably top grade walnut.

Plains game or dangerous game?
Plains game: - 7x57 - 30-06 - 300 H&H - 300 Win Mag - 338 Win Mag - 375 H&H
Dangerous game: - 375 H&H - 416 Taylor - 416 Rigby - 458 Win Mag
There are others, of course, but this should be a good start. donsm70
