A poster here had a real cluster with them last fall... flew to Seattle to pick it up but it was still in AK.... and they dinged it while loading... and it got worse from there...

I'd chain bind it to the floor in a 20ft container myself then use any of the regular freight services.

Like a barge to Seattle and drive it from there.

When I worked there we used minnalaska to ship out equipment. They came and picked up a couple GPU's and the flatbed had a pick up on it.

Had no issues whatsoever

Who does the military use for PCS shipments?

Don’t know who they used whe we had to move from da banks to KS in ‘94, but had no problems.

I’ve moved vehicles both ways to and from Anchorage, No problem at all.

When we returned to AK Matson shipped my truck from their terminal in Tacoma direct to their terminal in Anchorage where I picked it up. If you're able to get it to their location yourself there is no middle-man involved.

The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me.

Wrightway sure dropped the ball with my truck.
Most of the shippers were similar in price. A barge was double the cost.
I think I'm done taking vehicles south.

I have a phone number of a transport that delivers produce to Ak.
Put my truck in their trailer in Anchorage and brought it back to Tacoma for $1k in 2017.

You can message me if you want the #.
